e-MDs Corporate Retreate-MDs guests are treated to sweeping, panoramic ocean views from the deck of the main house perched on a granite cliff high above the crashing waves. The facility has two meeting areas that can accommodate 20 people with 6 bedrooms on-site. The guest cottage has two additional bedrooms. Evenings are spent gazing up at the darkest night and brightest stars you can imagine. Satellites and meteors, easily visible to the naked eye, streak across the sky. The Milky Way, in all its majestic glory, stands out against the black night. A large fire pit serves as a gathering point to discuss the day’s events over a glass of wine. An over sized, 8 person hot tub sits further out on the granite shelf. With a cool night breeze and the rumble of crashing waves below, you can close your eyes and almost imagine you are in heaven. For hikers, the 7.5 miles of private nature trails will be a welcome treat. Trails meander thru meadows, around granite knolls, up steep cliffs and thru dark forests. Most are well marked and manicured and range from easy to challenging. All trails enjoy inspiring views of nature and fauna. Summer guests can expect day time temperatures near the ocean of 65 degrees with night time temperatures dropping to the mid 50s. Further inland, temperatures can climb to 80 on a hot day.Guests are advised to bring good hiking boots, sunglasses, a sweatshirt pullover (for evenings) and a bathing suit for the hot tub. Nearby coastal lobster villages and bird sanctuaries provide plenty of photo opportunities. Good wine and good friends surrounded by the glory of God's natural universe will make for a memorable experience that you will cherish long afterwards. Welcome!
